Hey everyone! I hope somebody will view this site shortly and let everyone know to read it. I am on the aircraft carrier and have no means of communicating back home (yet) other than this. It sucks so if someone reads this call my friends or family or wife and let them all know. Well I am in Cypres. It is an island very similar to Hawaii that is off the coast of Europe, Asia, and Africa in the far eastern mediterranean. I will be on the carrier for another couple weeks. I've been learning a lot since I have been here and seen a lot of really cool stuff. The other day the ocean at 12 in the afternoon was perfectly glassy. The carrier was going pretty fast so there was a nice continuous waist high wave that I could just imagine myself surfing in the wake. It is really nice to be able to smell fresh air on a daily basis even though you are out to sea. Plus, I went out at night to watch the F-18 fighter jets take off and they shoot a 10 foot flame blue flame out the back. This is a great change from being on the submarine for 4 years. Well I will have to get back to work and I will try to reach out to everyone shortly. I hope someone reads this and if you do, put a post up on my blog and let everyone else know that I will at least try to keep this blog up to date.

Hi honey!! I can read it fine. Sorry if I was a little out of it at 2am. I had already taken my sleeping pills. I was so shocked that I didn't even know it was you. But now I feel better. I was a little worried since I hadn't heard from you. I'm glad that card worked. Actually the number to the ship showed up on caller ID. I had to check it this morning because I thought it was a dream that you called. LOL! I'm such a dork!!
It looks like in order to leave a comment we have to have a blogger account. It should be pretty easy.
I have a doctors appointment and then have to go to the gym. I will check the blog a couple times a day.
I love you babe!! Keep up the positive attitude and enjoy the experience. Make good friends and contacts for the future. I miss you!!
Okay it worked and only took a couple minutes to set up. Do you have an address I can send a package on the ship?
How many people are you sharing a room with? Do you need anything?
Also, the housing people called me last week. If we decide we are going to stay with them instead of looking to buy we have an address. We are going to be in M #101. It is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath. It's an end unit on John's Lane. There is a picnic cabana and a playgroun behind it. It's not a duplex. It's more houses connected together. But it is an end unit so that means we have the windows.
